58 percent of applicants to Hiram College were admitted for fall 2018

At Hiram College, 86 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Hiram enrolled 1,255 students in fall 2018, including 1,244 in undergraduate and 11 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

75 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 24 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (46 percent) and Black or African American (13 percent).

The school admitted 58 percent of the 2,687 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 15 percent enrolled.
