Graduates earn 248 degrees from Hiram College

About 35.9 percent of the 248 degrees and certificates handed out by Hiram College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Hiram conferred 89 bachelor's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance. Data shows the school gave out 40 bachelor's degrees in accounting and finance, followed by 38 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 23 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The college enrolled 1,255 students for 2017-18, including 1,244 in undergraduate programs and 11 in graduate programs.
