Portage County Health District issued the following announcement on February 2.
Heavy snow & freezing rain may affect road safety conditions. Be aware if you must drive:
* Ice and snow means take it slow!
* Do not crowd or pass snowplows. It could affect visibility.
* Drive slowly and leave extra space between cars.
