Portage County Sheriff's Office - Ohio issued the following announcement on February 26.
Yesterday Portage County Sheriff’s Office deputies ran a registration check on a vehicle and it returned as a stolen vehicle out of The City of Kent. The vehicle had been reportedly stolen from Theodore Roosevelt High School.
A traffic stop was initiated on Wall Street in Ravenna Township. Two juvenile males and an adult female were inside the vehicle. The juvenile driver was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property, and Possession of Marijuana.
The other juvenile was released to his legal guardian. The adult female was placed under arrest for an active felony warrant for Robbery out of the Portage County Sheriff’s Office.
The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner on scene.
