Portage Area RTA issued the following announcement on March 11.
It was announced today that PARTA is one of only 5 transit systems in Ohio to receive a competitive grant award from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). PARTA will receive more than $1.5 million to purchase new buses. We're looking forward to replacing some of our older buses to serve our riders better.
