Last week, the PACE Unit made a stop in the City of Ravenna for a turn signal violation. K9 Karo of the Portage County Sheriff's Office K9 Unit alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.
A subsequent search yielded a digital scale containing Methamphetamine residue, suspected LSD, and various pills that included Suboxone pills and sublingual’s. In addition to the drugs, two firearms including a loaded handgun and AR-15 style pistol were confiscated.
All narcotics, firearms, ammunition, and currency were seized along with the suspect’s vehicle.
