State Rep. Gail Pavliga | The Ohio House of Representatives
State Representative Gail Pavliga has released a statement applauding the Ohio House of Representatives for voting to override Governor Mike DeWine's veto of House Bill 68, which combines the Save Adolescents from Experimentation Act (SAFE) and the Save Women's Sports Act. Pavliga expressed her support for the bill, stating that it aims to empower parents, protect children, and maintain the integrity of women's sports in Ohio.
In her statement, Pavliga said, "Today, I voted to empower parents, protect children, and maintain the integrity of women's sports in Ohio. By voting with my colleagues in the House to override the Governor's veto of House Bill 68, we are sending a clear message that these are fundamental priorities for us, and hope that the Senate will join us in doing so."
The Ohio House of Representatives' vote to override the veto of the SAFE Act will now proceed to the Ohio Senate for consideration.
