On Tuesday, October 18, officers responded to assist Akron PD with a pursuit of a stolen vehicle entering the city. The vehicle crashed and one of the suspects fled on foot. A K9 track ensued. Our officers assisted in securing a perimeter and assisting Akron PD officers on scene. In addition, Dispatcher Schneider and Dispatch Coordinator Sadowski did a great job obtaining and relaying information from Akron PD to our officers throughout the pursuit and subsequent search for the suspect to include communication with PARTA employees about the possible whereabouts of the suspect. Great job ladies!
